Safeguarding grounded where systems meet reality
Human Edge Consulting is led by Principal Consultant Jasmine Luke, a safeguarding and investigations practitioner, and former Detective.
Jasmine brings almost two decades of frontline experience across child protection, complex investigations, critical incident response and management of high-risk organisational environments.
Her expertise spans child harm reporting and child protection review & risk-response procedures, regulatory and compliance obligations, subject interviewing — including forensic interviewing of children, recording statements, complex evidence assessment, legislative interpretation, procedural fairness processes, interagency coordination, investigative reporting and translation of policy and legislation into digestible, practical action.
Jasmine has worked where safeguarding decisions carry real consequences — navigating complex investigations, judicial processes, competing risks and multi-agency environments where evidence must be tested, obligations understood and decisions capable of withstanding scrutiny.
Human Edge brings that operational depth into organisations — helping leaders identify risk, investigate concerns, understand their obligations and build safeguarding systems capable of working not only on paper, but in the space between policy, people and practice.
